SUSTAINABLE HOUSING IN KISASSI
The site of Habitat 5235 presented us with some challenging contours and conditions whilst offering abundant opportunities to optimise natural resources and create incredible viewpoints for residents.
The site is situated at the lowest point of the area’s natural contour, the perfect spot to develop a high-rise structure without imposing on the local community. Whilst the site’s seemingly challenging aspect ratio of 6:1 benefitted us with the longest side of the property being perpendicular to uninterrupted views of the surrounding area. We also carried out extensive solar, daylighting and view analysis to maximise their availability and usability in each department and optimise this property’s defining features.
