Tatu City is enhancing safety with cutting-edge pedestrian crossings, advanced traffic controls, and marshals patrolling on e-bikes, issuing fines for violations such as speeding, littering, and other unsocial behaviours. Recruited and trained from the local community, traffic marshals are equipped with bodycams for transparent interactions. A standout feature is the pedestrian crossings designed by Urban Designer Peter Omondi, blending African patterns with functional design. These creative crossings not only promote safety but also add vibrancy to the streets.
